A simply gorgeous view of Proposal Rock awaits at this beachfront studio, whether you're having breakfast by the picture window or basking in the ocean breeze on the patio. This is a Neskowin setting that's second to none, with the broad sandy beach easily accessible via the boardwalk steps away. This studio sits on the ground floor of Neskowin Resort, a beachfront and creekside property with a world-class view of Neskowin's most famous landmark. Cross the footbridge and spend the day collecting seashells and sand dollars, surfing, boogie boarding, or exploring the Neskowin Ghost Forest. There's a communal barbecue area and laundry facilities on the grounds, as well as a coffee shop and cafe within easy walking distance. Greet each morning outside on the patio, with a cup of coffee in hand and a view of the ocean waves rolling in. Back inside, the studio is well-equipped with every essential, from a kitchenette (with a mini-fridge, an oven, a stove, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a toaster) to a windowside bistro table. On quiet evenings, watch movies on cable and DVD, use the complimentary WiFi to plan the next day's excursions, and sleep soundly in a comfortable Murphy bed that pulls down from the wall. This room is small but very affordable for a beach stay. Hopefully they fix this issue, but there was no key left for access to the beach, which is right outside the door, and if you want to leave the room unlocked as you go to the beach, you do have access to the beach right outside the door. We were not comfortable with that though, so we could walk out to the beach but had to walk around the property to the road and then around to the front door to unlock it with the code to get back in. It was kind of annoying when everyone around us was just going in and out the gate with their keys.

We booked two nights and left before the second. When we woke up in the morning, the counters were covered with rodent droppings. There were also rodent droppings in the bed we were sleeping in. This is absolutely a health risk and not ok. To be clear, the droppings were not there when we went to sleep and that means the rodents were in the room, in the bed (!) while we were sleeping. It also indicates that housekeeping likely saw them when they cleaned the unit last.

The location is unbeatable and the resort was nice with a restaurant and store on site. Things to note about this unit, on the off season they bring up the bridge shown in the photos and you end up having to walk to the end of the resort to the street then cross the bridge and use a trail back to the beach. Not too far but further than what the picture looks like. Also the room has basic nessities but that is it. Bring your own coffee, ect. We will definitely go again just with a little more knowledge of what to expect.
