The backyard is huge and private. Even had some deer come visit us. There’s lots of sleeping space as well. Has an air hockey in the garage and another living room downstairs. But the house overall needs a lot of work. The wallpaper looks like it’s been torn off on multiple walls, the radio doesn’t work, stains on the carpet and dents in multiple places. Still had a great time though.
This house does not get any up keep. When I first got there the washer was out of order ( I was there for 12 days) they knew before I even showed up. I had to go to the laundromat and do my own laundry including wash the towels so we had fresh towels. I contacted them about this and was told they would bring fresh towels and never showed up The fridge was dripping water in a bowl and when I contacted the Managment it was my obligation to empty the bowl daily. They did bring me a small fridge for a hotel. I was expecting to use a normal fridge as I was there for work. The pocket door to the bathroom (the only bathroom on the top floor) was broken and stuck so we all had to use the bathroom and shower with the door stuck open. Absolutely a horrible experience. Everything is outdated except the new washer they had to replace.
I had read the comments before I rented this home. I read about the outdated furniture and the wallpaper peeling off. That didn't bother me as im not renting a place for the wallpaper or for the furniture. This was a nice place and clean. The garage games were a hit, especially the air hockey. And we got visited by deer several times. A momma and two babies. Right in the back yard. Comfy beds too and we can see the ocean from the front windows. The stove top dials did bother me haha they were different in how they temp so it threw me off and I burnt some pancakes lol. All in all it was a great spot to stay with my kids and siblings. Thank you!
The house was very clean and comfortable. The furnishings and decide was extremely dated but not that if was uncomfortable. The grill is not functional and that was a bummer. The cd player didn't with but really didn't mind that. Just get rid of it. The wallpaper in master bedroom was ancient and peeling but all the rest of the house was in good condition. The fridge was leaking some water on the bottom tray. Loved the ocean view, the air hockey and quiet neighborhood
Nothing i liked about it. Except location. It had a small view of the ocean of you can see through all the power lines
We had a great time! We didn’t walk to the beach so I can’t comment on beach access, but the home was large and fit our needs. Thank you!
