Nothing was fantastic. Cleanliness was acceptable, but not great. Multiple broken fixtures and other upkeep issues. But it got the job done and gave myself and my crew somewhere to stay for the duration of our out of town job without anything being too far out of line. If you aren't overly picky, it isnt terrible.
The backyard was unfortunately not useable due to the neighbor’s German shepherd that constantly barks and jumps on the fence (I understand this is out of owner/vacasa control but future renters should be aware). The “game room” smelled of dog pee with visible stains on the carpet. We had to keep the doors closed expect when accessing the washer/dryer. We found the 2 beds we used comfortable. The kitchen was nice with pans in better condition than most rentals we’ve stayed in. There were ants in the sink when we arrived but as long as you clean up after yourself this wasn’t a big deal. We only used the master shower and it worked fine. We did not open the hot tub so can’t say if it was clean/good condition.
Immediately upon arrival on Friday, we noted multiple issues with the condition of the property and promptly contacted Vacasa Customer Care. We provided documentation via text and submitted photographs of the problems. We requested to be moved to a different property due to the unsanitary and unsafe condition of the home, and were told that a local representative would reach out to us if an alternative location became available. Unfortunately, we received no further communication or resolution during our stay. The issues with the property were numerous and unacceptable, including but not limited to: The overall property was filthy, with trash and clutter stuffed in closets and corners. Dirty underwear and shorts were found shoved into a closet. Of the three bathrooms, only one shower was operational. Two of the three toilets ran constantly and required manual intervention to refill and flush. The hot tub was filthy, with an exposed filter and unclean water. Several appliances did not function, including lights with inoperable switches. None of the TVs connected to the internet or functioned properly. The backyard was hazardous—grass was overgrown, and chemicals were left out on the porch, posing a safety risk. This experience was not only disappointing but also distressing, especially considering the cost of the rental and the expectation of a clean, safe, and fully functioning space for our vacation. The condition of this property falls far below any acceptable standard of hospitality or cleanliness.

Great house, good location for a walk to the beach, not far to great restaurants in Lincoln City
The hot tub is a hazard. There is no way to lift the water logged cover other than manually and then, they have a large stack of 12x12 pavers that the cover lands on and that will also slide off the stacks and try to crush your feet & legs when you attempt to try to put the cover back on the tub. One of our party had to exit the hot tub because the touched the broken filter area while getting in & we'e bleeding from the sharp, broken plastic. We thought the 1st floor suite would be perfect for our 77 year old mother for her Birthday trip but the suite is unfinished, has no heat, and the walk in tub leaked everywhere despite it being locked. Might have something to do with the large quantity of sand that came out of the seal with all the water to create a worse tripping hazard than any standard tub ever could. Did I mention there's no heat in the suite that is obviously intended for the elderly? The breaker box is also in this suite buried behind defunct gaming tables & a roll of carpet! Then for the annoyances: The yard has not been mowed possibly ever, the neighbors very large & loud German Shepherd has free range of the side yard through his doggy door & will bark loudly anytime you come outside unless you have a dog & then it will tear along the fence in full attack mode until your dog is put inside so good luck pottying your dog. There are apparently 3 different sound systems in the house but none of them seem to work. All of the bedrooms only offered Apple TV an no instructions for any TV, remote, nada. The shuffleboard game shown in the pictures does not work so don't get your hopes up. Most of the mattresses are too soft & then topped with a memory foam to cover the sagging. All said, we got this last minute & it was easily $300 less than comparables in the area so our expectations weren't high. This is a house that was probably great 10-15 years ago but now, it seemingly doesn't even have someone to take the 15 minutes to mow & pick up the small yard. Don't waste your $$ thinking you're getting a hot tub that is functional. You can get a nicer house without the old broken hot tub & no game room for cheaper
