The walls of windows are just beautiful throughout the living areas. We only wished the furniture was better arranged to capitalize on this feature. The beach access is a couple houses away. The beach is quite small and narrow near this home and you need to go at low tide (at least in the fall). There were a few issues with the home but management responded and provided solutions or some refunds. The fridge was having issues but a small fridge (and garage fridge) were provided. The carpet in one area was becoming unattached, hopefully it will be fixed! The dishwasher was full of clean dishes when we arrived. The kitchen and bathrooms are in need of an update but everything worked ok.
The place was beautiful. The moment we arrived we loved the view. The bunks were not clean and sheets had to be washed before we slept. The carpet smelled like urine really bad had to buy candles and spray to try and cover up the smell.
Went on a girls-only week and we loved all the bedrooms and bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, zonal heating/cooling. Beware though that the beach access a few doors down is not conducive to someone who is not sure on their feet. I couldn’t personally navigate it with my bad knees, and it was even hard for one of the younger women with us.
First I will start off with all the positives. Loved the layout of the house, the view from inside the house, the deck and hottub, the yard for our dog and the fire pit out front. House had very comfortable furniture and was one of the most well stocked kitchens with dishes and cooking utensils. Now for the downside. Just as some of the reviews mentioned there were a few things that didn’t work. The fire table on the deck, the video games and there were no instructions on how to adjust the furnace thermostat. I had my elderly mother with us and needed the heat turned up from what it was programmed. The bathroom in the en-suite has a very tiny shower and there was no handsoap at the sink. Also some of the shampoo and conditioner needed refilled in all bathrooms. The backyard needs to be secured at two places so a dog doesn’t go over the bank. I would have given 5 stars but for the items/issues mentioned above. When I pay, almost $450 a night, I expect everything to be in order and working. I would stay here again as long as I was assured all issues have been resolved
Location of the house was great, but the cleanliness was not good. We had to wash all the bed sheets and pillow covers once we got to the house. It had plenty of kitchenware but oven and toaster was very dirty. Bathrooms and house in general needs a update ASAP!
Liked the layout and cleanliness. Really nice house for kids. Hot tub very clean and easy to use. Big deck. House has excellent amenities.
