Perched on a bluff right next to the sandy shore, simply walk half a block south to reach the beach. Spend your visit out on the beach (and use the home's provided chairs), explore small but friendly Gleneden Beach, or head north a few miles to Lincoln City for a huge variety of shopping, dining, and activity options. With plenty of boating, fishing, hiking, beachcombing, and other outdoor adventures nearby, you'll never run out of things to do! This single-level house has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, plus plenty of open space for everyone to roam. The living room is a particularly wonderful area, with cozy seating arranged in front of the enormous picture windows overlooking the sea. There's also a gas fireplace and a large flatscreen TV equipped with Roku and a Blu-ray/DVD/ player with a selection of classic DVD movies. Since the home also has WiFi access and additional amenities such as a laundry room, everyone will be comfortable here! A full kitchen is ready and waiting to help you cook up tasty meals while on vacation. Down the hall is a full bathroom with a ledgeless shower stall. Outside is a beautiful space with a covered patio perfect for watching the sea. Enjoy a front-row seat for an unforgettable sunset, watch the tides roll in and out, and even keep an eye out for a passing whale or two! This home is perfect for a family with children, a group of friends, or two small families. The beach is certainly the star attraction, though with other towns such as Lincoln City, Depoe Bay, and Newport easily reachable via a scenic drive, you can take your pick of fun activities. This house is great: clean, well maintained, and great space and layout for hanging out with friends. The ocean view is spectacular; you're right on top of it. Our only disappointment was beach access, which is not good if you have mobility issues. The path a few houses south washed out a while ago. It's a downhill narrow (one foot's width) gully, although there's a cable you can grab to help you keep your balance if you do go down that way; I did with my dog, who had no problem, of course. The next access is about 1/4 mile walk south, down Glen Ave to Laurel Street, and then a downhill ramp. But, the beach is very clean and lovely, once you get down there. Finn & I had a great time, although my friends weren't able to join us there.

Great view of the ocean and great storm watching. Be sure to review all feedbacks regarding the handicapped access amenities. It is not fully accessible for people with mobility issues.
