This place was exactly what we were looking for: a cozy place with an exceptional view of the ocean (readily available at all times while in the house) and easy access to the beach (a one block walk, and a bit of a rocky scramble down). Note to those with mobility issues: the driveway is very steep, and the scramble down to the beach at the access point requires the use of a rope at points). Being able to sit in the hot tub and see the stormy waves was just wonderful. The mattress in the master bedroom is a very comfortable pillow top. If you stay here, definitely take the chance to go to the Red Roof to get some breakfast. Their shrimp-n-grits was delicious and their pastries were as good as they looked in the case.
Loved layout of the house and the property. Would have rated a 5 but the heater didn’t work and there were 3 leaks in the ceiling. The property managers were very helpful and brought us space heaters, but unfortunately we couldn’t plug them in anywhere near the common area of the house without immediately blowing the fuse, so we had to rely on the fireplace to heat the house up to the mid 60’s ofer the course of hours every time we came home. The fireplace is on a timer, so it needed to be tended to to get the heat up and it wasn’t helpful overnight. I think both of these issues could be fixed and the house would be fabulous. Unfortunately that wasn’t our experience.
Great location for reaching beaches, forest, and crabbing spots. Large open comfortable public space for gathering friends or family. Great view of the waves.
great location between lincoln City and depot bay. Beautiful ocean view with close access just down the road. Walk to the red-roof cafe for coffee and super baked goods and food. 2 nights wasnt enough to really enjoy our get-away to the coast
I love watching the ocean
