We had a lovely week at Sullishak cabin. The location was ideal. The WiFi was out for the first 4 days of our stay but it was finally fixed and Vacasa refunded us money. The bedrooms were very comfortable. We really appreciated the ability to bring our dogs. We loved the history of the cabin and felt the love the family has put into it.
There’s literally NO WiFi which for most of us under the age of 50 means there’s also NO TV either. But if that’s not important to you, then the place is fine. The add on in the back is great! The other rooms are tight but suitable for their age. The beach is close, and there are a couple of access points. But they are somewhat steep. Unfortunately this will be our last interaction with VACASA, however. We’ve used them for everything for years, even for some of our expensive trips. But they were sold a year or so ago, and they are no longer the Vacasa we once knew and loved. Now, they’re rigid and cold. The customer service was so bad I wouldn’t even give it a 1 if I could. The guy I talked to acted like he hated the world and couldn’t care less about me as a customer or as a human. This happened on our last trip too. I’m done.
A funky fun place to stay with beach access and a quick drive to surrounding beach communities. Sullishak for the win!
The view and access to the beach were great! Lots of space. We traveled with three families and we had enough bathrooms for everyone!!!
Loved the view, the house history was interesting. The stairs to the upper floor were crazy steep, and hard to come down from. Beds on the first floor were really comfortable, however the queen upstairs was hard, and we weren't able to enjoy the balcony due to standing water. Loved the ability to bring our dogs with us, it was a huge bonus. Hot water did not last long enough, it would get chilled through just one person's shower. Overall happy with the view and most the beds, for the price I think furniture over all needs to be updated.
This is our 2nd year in a row coming here for our spring break. It works perfectly for our big family. If you are looking for a place to focus on family time, games and the beach it's perfect. The wifi does not work really well but that isn't why we come so we are totally okay with it. We are already planning our next trip and plan to come back to the Sullishak.
