Beautiful location and charming house. We had a wonderful girls trip and would definitely stay again.
Wifi, TV, dish washer, fridge, kitchen was well stocked, and location was the best.
We loved this house! Took a little getting used to but once we figured it out, all was grand. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed to cook all our meals. There's a nice gas grill that we would have used if we had known it was there before we planned our meals. The house is adjacent to the Stanford Inn, and there are lovely garden paths to walk. There's a road that leads down to the river where they rent canoes and bicycles. Across the way is a corral area with llamas, donkeys, and a horse which are 21 month old grandson absolutely loved. There isn't a view of the river from the house. You need to cross a little road and go down the hill a bit to see the river. There also isn't a wood burning fireplace. It has been converted into an electric heater that looks kind of like a fireplace. The home is charming and very comfortable. We appreciated the many historic features.
The house was perfectly situated to visit downtown as well as all the local hiking, kayaking and beach activities. It can also accommodate 2 couples with 4 kids, so bring a group and enjoy!
