First off, the place had nats inside since the minute we walked in. There was only a mini fridge, no oven, no pans, and a very select amount of cooking tools. The view was amazing and the bed was comfortable, but overall I’m super disappointed due to there being bugs flying inside the entire visit. Oh, also, the WiFi is super hit or miss.
The location of this spot was great -- just north of town, with a beautiful view of the coast.
My wife and I enjoyed a lovely weekend getaway to Mendocino. The Studio provided a breathtaking view of the ocean waves crashing on the rock formation that you can hear from the unit. Accessing and enjoying the space was easy and perfect for us. We enjoyed are weekend so much we are planning to make the trip a yearly event. Thank you!
Super cute cottage with amazing view and great location
Excellent ocean view walks close by in Mendocino. Two CA State Parks just to the north and south. Good choice of restaurants in Mendocino.
Quiet, private at the edge of town. Beautiful views of the ocean with crashing waves, but quite inside. Beware of the key lock, the key fell out below the deck. There was no cell service to call for help so I had to drive the 3 min into town. I missed the detail in the checkin email about the backup lock box! I did not have contact info for the property manager and did not get a call back in time to help me. I bought a grabber from the hardware store and was able to recover the key and get in but with no cell or wifi I did not learn about the backup key until it didn't matter any longer. I went back into town later and then get the message from Todd about the backup key lock. I informed him about the wifi not working but it did not get resolved during my three night stay. There are no condiments, like salt so you need to bring what you need, think like a camp out as far as food prep is concerned. So if you need to work here there could be an issue, but if you want to be offline it's perfect! I did appreciate the DVD collection of old movies to choose from, or you can bring your own.
