This light-filled home enjoys gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean, migrating whales, and the Point Arena Lighthouse. Calming and comfortable, it's a place to spend your days beachcombing, tidepooling, and stargazing in some of the clearest night skies you've ever seen. On a clear evening, guests may be lucky enough to spot the green flash as the sun sets! This home sits a few miles north of small-town Manchester and is near the secluded beach of Manchester State Park. A 2-minute drive or a 10-minute walk will get guests to a 5-mile beach stretch by a private gated community road. Go for morning walks to look for sea lions playing in the waves, and take scenic drives to explore the trails of Point Arena-Stornetta Public Lands National Monument (nine miles), the tiny town of Elk (nine miles), and the artists colony of Mendocino (26 miles). After a day out and about on the wild North Coast, it's a joy to return to this ocean view retreat. Watch the sunset as you dine alfresco on the deck. Families of deer and quail may visit you while you enjoy your meal and provide your dinner enrichment. Don't forget to slip into the private hot tub for a soothing soak, while watching the Milky Way and shooting stars above. Inside, find an open floor plan with lofty ceilings, generous windows framing the ocean, and a gas fireplace to curl up next to on foggy evenings. Cook with ease in the well-appointed kitchen with granite countertops, stream your favorite movies nightly on the smart TV, and use the complimentary WiFi to stay as connected as you'd like. Two serene bedrooms and a washer/dryer round out the in-home essentials. This property does not support EV charging. Guests are kindly asked to use public EV chargers available in the area.
