Start your morning in the kitchenette with a great cup of coffee then go out on the private deck and read your phone or newspaper while watching the passing whales, osprey, and harbor seals as seagulls fly lazily overhead. Please note the kitchenette does not have a stovetop. Take morning walks one-mile up the road to the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, admire colorful shores of Glass Beach just beyond downtown Fort Bragg and peruse the many Art Galleries of Mendocino. Use the free WiFi to make plans for the day ahead, or simply drive aimlessly on the spectacular Mendocino Coast of Highway 1. Come home in the afternoon to unwind by taking a luxurious nap in the Louis XVI bed, or head outdoors to watch the sunset from your oceanfront lounge chairs. Then pour yourself a glass of wine before a blazing fire in the fire pit then spend the evening stargazing as the ocean waves crash below. This includes signing our standard rental agreement and verifying guest and payment information. It only takes a few minutes and helps us prepare the home for your arrival. This is NOT a pet friendly home. This home is on a private road. Please use care when driving down the private gated drive, as there are other residents on the street. Please park in front of Le Faux rather than in front of the main house. Cell phone service is spotty and even non-existent in some places. Please print or download driving directions and lockbox/gate codes prior to leaving. This property does not support EV charging. Guests are kindly asked to use public EV chargers available in the area.
