Booked through VRBO with zero knowledge of Vacasa and their fees that were in addition and over double what VRBO charges! Paid more in fees and taxes than actual cost for one week rental! House itself was nice. It appears to have been recently updated. Nice bathrooms and comfy beds! Kitchen ready for a refresh! Plenty of seating in family room. Unfortunately exorbitant fees keep me from a better rating!

Wasn’t going to leave a review, because I don’t like being negative, but they literally kept emailing me to. So here we are. Very dirty. Very old carpet I can tell hasn’t been shampooed in a long time. Why even have carpet in a beach town at a dog friendly home? Shocked this place has 9 stars. basically every dish in the entire home was dirty. Make sure you wash them first. A/C was broken for half of our trip. Vendor said it’s extremely old and pretty much not going to work unless it’s replaced. A 40-50lb shower door fell off the hinges on my 7 year old and I got a bruise climbing in the shower and holding it up to get her out. Vendor said this shower was extremely dangerous and we shouldn’t use it. Other “working” shower wouldn’t drain. With 8 people. It took them 2 days to come fix shower and AC issues. They required me to document everything and be on the phone with them and vendors and send picture after picture while I was on my vacation, rather than actually having a local property manager to come handle it so I could go enjoy the beach. They did give me a measly tiny bit of refund offer not even close to what I should have been compensated for considering it was 83 degrees and 81% humidity in the home for 50% of our trip. Lots of leaks and water spots so if you’re mold sensitive I’d say don’t stay here. The only good thing was the neighborhood and the proximity on the island.

I love the size the big backyard. Everything was clean and easily accessible, but definitely have a return. Stay and recommend anyone to use this property.
