Rating
The location and the weather! the place was great as well
Great spacious home with great views of beach and sound. Plenty of large pans and pots for cooking. Plenty of utensils and other kitchen supplies. Carpeting could use some repair but otherwise it is a wonderful place for the cost and large get togethers!
The house was good but there were several dead roaches on the 2nd floor. Was afraid to.bring any eggs home with me. I am sure there were some live ones.
We arrived to find the home in filthy, unacceptable condition. There was a pair of dirty women’s underwear left on one of the beds, cockroaches, broken chairs (inside and out), sand everywhere, and the downstairs fridge wasn’t working — it didn’t keep anything cold until a day or two in. We reported everything immediately with photo evidence. Vacasa’s only offer was to “write a report” and send someone by — but the state of the home had already disrupted our vacation. We asked not to be disturbed and expected the issues to be resolved properly after. That’s not unreasonable. Instead, Vacasa did absolutely nothing. Now they’re refusing any compensation — and to top it off, they’re trying to charge us an extra cleaning fee, even though the property was a mess when we arrived. So who’s really to blame here — the guests, or the cleaning crew Vacasa hired and failed to supervise? To be fair, Vacasa’s central support team was polite and responsive. The real issue was their local management team, who took no meaningful action and now want to deflect blame onto us. It’s a shame, because the home itself has a lot of potential — but Vacasa’s mismanagement and refusal to take accountability made this a miserable experience.
The location to the beach was very good. The house however needs updates. Carpet, doors, blinds and the pool needs to be repainted . Kitchen was well stocked. There’s a beautiful view of the sunset from the deck.
The kitchen is well stocked, lots of lovely views from the many balconies. Beds were very comfortable.
