Very nice house. My family has stayed in this same house several times. The house has everything you need. The one draw back is the sand spurs are terrible in the yard. They also get brought in the house and are a painful find. We also booked this house for next year. After booking we noticed a big price drop for next year. We contacted the rental group but refused to give us the decreased price.

We loved the house. With a few updates this house would be 6 stars.

We think because it's a pet friendly home some things don't get updated. Overall OK. We are renting again 2026. We have rented last 5 years.

Our family planned this vacation over a year ago and chose this home. It was an excellent choice, with large bedrooms— all had comfy king size beds (except bunkbed room) and private bathrooms. The area was away from the busy main part of the Outer Banks, offering us access to fishing, walking trails, the community pool and pickleball courts. The ocean/beach was just minutes away by the golf cart we rented. Food Lion and Ace hardware stores were even closer. The house backed up to a small lake. The house kitchen and dining room area created a cozy, relaxing environment for all 14 of us. Kitchen was large with an island, eating bar, 2 ovens and 2 dishwashers. Lots of room to prepare meals. We enjoyed watching movies in both the kitchen/living area and the theater room. The private pool and hot tub were particularly popular with the grandkids. We had 2 dogs with us and the local community area provided space for them to be walked. An added feature we appreciated was the elevator, which was used to transport our luggage and food items to various floors. Balconies on each floor gave great viewing for sunrises and sunsets. Our family went away with many lifelong memories!! Vacasa was great at responding to our texts and calls to address a couple of issues that arose during our stay

Had high hopes, but home fell short.

Overall the house fit our large family very well. The size, the amenities, the bedrooms, and the pool were just right for our family. The location is great. The house just needs some modern updates: the carpet was less than clean, the furniture is showing its age, only one of two dishwashers worked, the drawers needed a deep cleaning, A/C vents could’ve used a bit of help. We really did enjoy our stay, but it is just a bit outdated.
