HAHD17 Recess #17-HH

The views in this home are to die for. In addition, it is well stocked, nicely furnished, spotlessly cleaned, spacious and convenient to the ferry and attractions. The storage and outdoor shower underneath are great. Beach access was very easy. We would stay here again and again.

The pictures are a little misleading. The house was clean but you could tell its had some damage. Like water colors on the ceiling, paint peeling at the top of the wall, a lot of soap scum on the shower walls. Nothing extremely nasty, and perfectly fine for a weeks stay. The door lock was a little tricky. Almost couldnt get it to unlock or lock. Took a bit of time to figure it out. The t.v. and internet were slow. We couldnt get the On Demand to work either. But hotspot from the phone worked! All in all, it wasnt 5 star hotel worthy, however I have seen worse houses. The views were to die for! Super convenient location and loved being right on the beach!

This house is in a perfect location for beach access and has everything you need for a great stay. The air conditioning in the upper level went out the last two days of our stay and was blowing heat instead of cool air. We shut it off and slept with the fan but it was very hot and rest of rooms were full in the house. Tried to contact Vacasa about compensation but they only returned one call with a message, then I was unable to reach them or get a return call. For the cost to rent this unit for nearly a week, it would seem fair to get compensated for failed A/C in the summer…

Love the windows everywhere for great views. If top level temperature control is fixed and lower level Oceanside bedroom horrible mattress is replaced, it would be a great 4-bedroom house, instead of only 2 usable rooms. Well-stocked kitchen, great layout, perfect location, easy beach access. Fix the broken door handle to the deck that falls off in your hands too, please! This is all fixable, and the house would be wonderful if done.

The view was just about the only thing our family enjoyed. This rental is part of a group of rentals offered by a large company and it shows. Make sure you bring all of the extras because they give you the basics like a few laundry pods, dishwasher detergent, subpar paper towels, and hospital grade toilet paper. Furniture is past due for an upgrade. For the price I would expect more. Do yourself a favor and look into a different rental.
