The Community Center is ideal for relaxing with friends, conducting meetings, attending wedding parties and receptions, or simply enjoying the lounge areas, which offer a 50-inch plasma TV, a pool table, a gas fireplace, and a complete kitchen on the upper level.

This first-floor condo is tastefully furnished and well-equipped to make your stay comfortable and memorable. About Time features a private, 14-foot oceanfront deck, two TVs, satellite HDTV service with DVR, two DVD players, a CD player, and free high-speed WiFi.

We loved the 1 1/2 days we had at About Time. It was very clean, the bed was comfy, we loved the view from the balcony the kitchen seemed to have everything we would need for the week. The elevator and carts made moving in much easier. The pool was warm and clean. We had just gotten settled in and we're excited for a much needed week of relaxation. Beach week is my favorite week of the year. Then we got the alert that Hurricane Erin was bringing a storm surge and we would have to evacuate. I'm still sad that we had to leave this lovely property so soon.

This place is perfect! On the beach with a heated pool, hot tub, home fully stocked in the kitchen, balcony with ocean view, so cozy, close to the ferry to ocracoke, the grocery store, orv ramp to spend a day on the beach in our jeep, ice cream shop, restaurants! They have a laundry room for you to use which was great so take some quarters so you dont have to do laundry when you get home! And the price, in July, for an entire week was excellent!!!! Definitely recommend this place for a perfect beach vacation!

Overall great place. However, we did notice a brown spot on our comforter that made us very uncomfortable. I assume they only clean the sheets and not the comforter, but that still should be be changed out and washed for each guest. We also found 3 nails in the back parking lot area and under the carport. Very concerning as nobody wants a flat tire at the beach (or anywhere). Our deck didn’t drain all the water from rain. And there was a very noticeable soft spot in the center towards the front. So you can tell it had water damage through to the subfloor. I know there is a material over it that is supposed to protect that but it had a crack in it. I wasn’t worried about falling through, but that spot is only gonna get worse as time goes on, and it should be fixed as soon as possible. But it was a great stay, pool and hot tub was nice. And easy access to the beach.

Durant Station never disappoints. Everything is very well maintained. Have stayed in several units over the years and About Time was excellent. Even on first floor we had a nice view of the ocean. Bed was comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Unit was clean and ready with no delays. We will be back!
