Could use some improvement

We can’t give a full review as we were only in the home from Saturday evening until Monday morning due to mandatory evacuation. The home has great bedrooms with a bathroom for each. Game room is super nice. It is just a short walk to the beach and dog friendly. There is still a hole in the kitchen wall which I see was mentioned on previous posts. We did let Vacasa know upon check in as well. The ice machine should just be pulled out. It’s not necessary with two refrigerators and plenty of room for ice. The machine was dirty and smelled pretty bad. Otherwise- very clean and I think we would have had a great week if it weren’t for Hurricane Erin!

I recently stayed at this house in Salvo. The looked looked great when we first got there, but there were some quirks to it. The first thing that we noticed is, some of house did not looked clean. The carpets looked liked the were not vacuumed. No biggie until we tried to vacuum the rugs. The vacuum did not work, so that's why floors were not done. The next thing we notice was the ice maker in the kitchen. When I opened it it was filthy inside, It also did not work. The kitchen has a big hole in the one wall that was there when we arrived. The burner on the stovetop had a big crack. It did still work. We went to use the hot tub, but it had a leak. It was fixed by the end of the week, the day before we left. Do not take the mattress covers off. I will just leave that one alone. Even with all the quirks, we made the best of it. When I did get a hold of vacasa, they resonded as quick as the could. The house itself was nice and in a great location. I just believe with so many rental properties they some times get neglected which happens with big companies. This is not a complaint review. We did have a great time.

We enjoyed the size of the home and convenience of the elevator. The kitchen is well stocked and the kids loved the game room. The ice maker does not work but with 2 refrigerators keeping bags of ice was no problem. We had a wonderful week.

This is truly a great home and great location. We have stayed in this home once before. It really needs a deep cleaning before it gets ruined! Future guest please clean up after your animals!!!!!!!

Great house, great layout, kids loved the game room, hot tup was fantastic, elevator was so useful. 4 stars because the middle floor living area smelled very strongly of dog urine, also multiple cabinets are falling apart (it’s just time for a few upgrades), also everything was sticky. Just in need of a good solid professional deep clean.
