SO601 Luna Vista

Unfortunately, the first thing we noticed were ants. There were ants everywhere, even downstairs in the bathroom and bedrooms where we kept no food. The furniture is pretty outdated with a lot of stains. Cleanliness wasn’t ideal. Had an issue with the linens (lacked linens for a bed), Vacasa was extremely unhelpful. Overall, it fit our family’s needs and was close to the beach, though the walk over the dunes was a trek. I would say be sure to bring your own pillow and bath towels. They only give you one small pillow and bath towel per person. The deck seemed unsafe, needs updated. It was a decent stay at a good price, but I don’t think I’d stay here again.

This is our first time staying at this home. The living room furniture is very uncomfortable it is hard not ideal for relaxing. We slept in one of the queen size beds it was hard we got up every morning and got in the hot tub to relax our backs we are use to king size beds . We slept in the first bedroom by the door cause the other queen size bed looked like it was slanting down by the headboard. Outside of the room we slept in the hot tub was on the deck there and for some reason the hot tub ran a lot most of the night . The first night we stayed there was no hot water. Which we called and they came the next day in the morning . And the tv in the bedroom we stayed in didn’t work they also got that fixed. Did not know you couldn’t use the outside grill until we got the email for the information about the house two days before we was to check in and we were already away from home and couldn’t bring our own small grill. The pictures of the grill shouldn’t be in advertising of the house if unable to use. Need to put on the fridge a sign letting people know when garbage pickup is . We had to find that information on the check in email as well most places we have stayed at has that information posted on the fridge. The house was clean. And the walk to the beach was nice not too far .

House was clean. Bed was comfortable. Hot tub was clean too. House worked perfectly for us.

We absolutely loved our vacation at Luna Vista!!! This home is totally as described. The home is open & airy with so many amenities!! Beautiful sunrises, sunsets & ocean views! Located within a 5 minute walk to the beach, yet the sound is nearby for fun!! A day trip by ferry to Ocracoke Island is a must!!! 😁 My family and I are already planning our next stay. Truly a fantastic experience!! Great value and well worth it. I would also like to add, the customer service was impeccable!! I’ve stayed many places and I must say this was top notch service bar none! Thank you Luna Vista for the beautiful memories!!! Hope to see you again soon!! 🫶🌊🏝️☀️
