The beautiful oceanfront home of Sandfiddler can be yours to bask in during your next beach vacation! This four-bedroom property offers amazing sound and ocean views that can be enjoyed from the furnished sundecks and offers plenty of other great extras to make your vacation extra special. The spacious great room with cathedral ceiling and two stories of glass windows will be a wonderful place to relax. Take in beautiful ocean views right from the living room furnished with attractive decor, beautiful floors, and ample seating. Climb the spiral staircase to the loft area for a perfect little hideaway. The large kitchen with a breakfast bar and separate dining area is a great place to gather to enjoy some tasty meals and chat about your day. A wet bar is also on hand for extra seating. Four comfortable bedrooms offer comfy beds that will help you recharge your energy after a long, fun-filled day. Two bedrooms are primary bedrooms.

When you're ready for some more fun, plenty of TVs, five DVD players, and a stereo/CD player are on hand for some viewing and listening fun. A foosball table in the game room with a video and CD library will provide hours of entertainment for everyone in the house. Head outdoors to take a dip in the hot tub or take the private path that leads to the public beach boardwalk or kick back and listen to a few tropical tunes with the Bluetooth-compatible stereo and outdoor top deck speakers. Sandfiddler also offers a convenient carport for your use and allows access to Kinnakeet Shores Pool and Tennis for additional recreational fun. This was our 1st time in Avon. We loved the peace n quiet. The open floor plan was amazing. 1st time having a hot tub, awesome for relaxing n the day it rained. The bed was very comfortable

This review has nothing to do with the house but the treatment of tenants by rental company. We were barely there 48 hours before a mandatory evacuation was issued for AVON NC. Understandable about the situation, but to have no money returned for our stay is unexceptable! Every other rental agency on the island were issuing refunds even with no issuance except VACASA. I’ve been using them for years and never will again!! Beware, they are only looking after the owners best interests. Not a family spending thousands for a weeks vacation.

All in all we enjoyed our stay at the Sandfiddler and we would book it again. This would have been a 5-star review but there were a few things that need some additional attention. The kitchen is spacious and there’s plenty of dishes, mugs, and pots. There are no oven mits, only 1 dish towel and 1 baking sheet, and all the drawers were dirty/dusty. Plenty of places for people to eat and relax, which is nice. A big downside is that the AC had a very hard time maintaining cooler temps. There’s an automatic eco setting that prevents you from setting it lower than 75-76 and it got to be 78 each afternoon even with the blinds and curtains drawn. The bedrooms downstairs are on a separate AC zone & stayed nice and cool though. The shared bathroom downstairs has lots of mold on the shower curtain. All of the older deck furniture is loose and falling apart or already has pieces missing. Several nails in the deck are popping out. Hot tub is clean and works great. The location is prime and the views are extraordinary. Even with the issues we noticed, we would stay at the Sandfiddler again! Very unique and cozy house.
