The proximity to fishing areas was great. Definitely come with extra towels/washcloths and be prepared to cook unless you are prepared to spend $20+ per person. There is no delivery, no Uber or door dash

We have loved staying here for the past 3 years! Has everything we need. Some things could use updating but otherwise it's a nice affordable spot.

Yes, you read that right! After a 10-hour drive with our three kids, we finally arrived at our charming beach rental at 5 p.m. on Sunday—only to be evacuated by the county just an hour later due to the near landfall of Hurricane Erin. We immediately contacted the rental company, who informed us that the property manager required us to follow the evacuation order—which, of course, we did. Unfortunately, Vacasa showed no sympathy or understanding. We asked if they could move our reservation to another property in a nearby county not under evacuation, but they said they couldn’t. We then requested a credit or refund since we were forced to leave almost immediately after checking in, and they flatly refused. I’ve never been more disappointed in a vacation experience—or in a rental company.

Very cozy and comfortable location. Right across the street from a public beach access point, pool access 5 min drive away, walking distance from ice cream shop, walking distance from food options and coffee shop, 5 min drive to cove with no waves for kids, and 15 min drive to walking trail. Perfect spot. Great amenities and comfortable home. I only wish there was one bed that was king size for taller people, but otherwise it was great! Highly recommended.
