Location and the home is absolutely beautiful inside and out!

We all loved just how close we were to the ocean, going to sleep and waking up to the waves was excellent. The house was spacious (we had 7 adults, no kids) and the elevator was really useful for our groceries and luggage but also our physically disabled friend was able to get up and down without issue. The living spaces were bright and airy and the views were priceless. We would stay in this same property again.

We loved the house but unfortunately had several issues with Vacasa’s management of the property.

The house had a beautiful view of the ocean and fit all 14 of us comfortably. The house is directly next to a beach access and had a pool and hot tub that were cleaned while we were there. Three refrigerators worked great. Two functioning dishwashers but one needs a deep clean. Blender and coffee pot work great. Before we came I inquired about a review from June. I was told all problems in the review were fixed except there was no longer a grill. Vacasa should have told us before that time there was no longer a grill. Many of the things I inquired about were not fixed. The volleyball court was not usable, dishwasher had mold, ice maker did not work and was never fixed during our stay. It took multiple phone calls to get one working dryer. Both were broken and the one was not fixed until Thursday. Only one washing machine worked. A stove burner needs to be fixed bc it continuous to try and light itself after being lit.

The pool and hot tub were great. The pool maintenance guy came Wednesday and cleaned the pool and hot tub, thanks for that. The house was generally clean upon arrival. We have come to the house 3 times in the last 5 years. The 1st time all of the items worked. The 2nd time the elavator did not work. The 3rd time 1dryer did not work and the other dryer spun but did not dry the clothes. The elevator stopped working after a couple of trips. There are loose railings on all levels of the house. Tv's and remotes should be labeled/ matched. We were able to match the majority of remotes with the tv's, but we couldn't get them all to work. The dispensers of soap and shampoo, while nice, weren't full in all showers. A Dunkaroos cookie container was found under the cover of one of the bunk beds ??? The couch and two swivel chairs, upstairs, are WORN out. The grill tools need replacement as they are useless. The 3rd floor center and south bedroom mattresses are shot, sunken in the middle, very uncomfortable. The Elevator worked just 3 times then the outside doors would not unlock. A call to maintenance went unanswered and we had no use of the elevator for the entire week. We paid a lot of money for this week, and it's as if VACASA could have cared less, not everyone can climb 4 flights of stairs with luggage/groceries and is why rented this house with an elevator. We will look for another house to rent.

The house itself was amazingly beautiful. The location perfect. And providing all the amenities had worked would have been a 5star review. The listing shows double washer/dryer. Upon arrival only one washer and dryer set worked. Mid week the second dryer went out. After much back and forth we were simply told it had to be replaced and left with no other solution than to find and use the local Vacasa laundromat. Having to take time out of our vacation to do laundry for a group of 12 people was a huge dilemma. I understand appliances break however it was completely unacceptable that the first dryer and washer set were broken already. The dish washer under the sink does not dry - that was noted in previous reviews so should have been addressed. Once more left only to one of two “listed” appliances. The ice machine did not work. Alex the maintenance man did come by and look at it - said it was fixed but it was not. Having to purchase that amount of ice was also very inconvenient. The TVs in all the bedrooms had no volume and no way to adjust volume control thus useless. The elevator malfunctioned and beeped constantly until someone arrived to shut it off - Which I am thankful for the speedy response. All around we had a great trip. The home, location to beach, pool, and view made it all worth it. However the lack of care taken to maintain the home and thus unfulfilled expectations about the property was very disappointing. Especially for the amount of money paid for this trip. This is our second stay at a Vacasa residence and likely will be our last.
