WVSIH2 Summer by the Sea

We loved Everything, the house was just the right size. Kitchen was nice and big, wifi was fast and customer service was very helpful.

Clean and most fixture are updated. Great for a quick getaway

House was great for a family of 5 plus a pooch. It was clean when we got there. It’s about a 7 min walk to the beach. Liked the duel outdoor showers. WiFi was decent, except it was out along with cell service for most of the day on Tuesday (not a house issue, but heard it happens in that area fairly regularly. The furniture was minimal, but ok. The master bedroom bed was about 3.5’ off the ground. Not the easiest to get into. There was a TV in the master bedroom, but it didn’t work very well. The bad: the pictures make it look like there is an enclosed fence. However, the fence was open at both ends, so the dog had to remain leashed. I also killed about a half dozen cockroaches, big suckers. Texted Vacasa and their response was “thanks for letting us know” and no further follow up. Eating a 4 out of 5 because the property itself was great, near a few restaurants (knowing we were not in the traffic areas) and was a quick walk to the beach. It was clean, and had all the things needed to cook at home. It lost a star due to the lack of anything about the cockroaches and the fence not being enclosed. I would still be a repeat visitor there if given the opportunity again.

The kitchen was nice as was the outdoor showers. Otherwise I would never rent from Vascasa again. Notified the company of concerns with cleanliness and safety, no one ever showed up to address. No thanks, don’t recommend

This home has a beautiful lawn, the convenience of a front porch and a rear ramp. It is located in a convenient spot to enjoy the Tri villages of rodanthe, waves, and salvo. It is also close to Avon and the Food Lion for shopping.
