NTB2346 Tipsy Turtle North

Pros- view is immaculate! House was clean and had a nice set of start up supplies. We called maintenance to fix the bathroom pocket door that was broken when we arrived and they were literally there within 5 minutes! Cons- There are sandbags along the shore. There are broken bags that get tangled up in your legs. Going around the bags to get into the ocean is difficult. They are bulky and have metal pieces sticking out. Due to the property location, there is a sandbar that causes constant rough waves. It is very rough. Sand needs constant shoveling in the driveway. It builds up. If you do not have 4x4, you will most likely get stuck in the driveway. There are no mirrors in the house except the bathroom mirrors. Description says twin bunk beds but they are actually full over full. When it says bath towels are provided, be prepared because you only get 1/person for your entire stay. They said we’d get a text if the property was available earlier than check in of 4:00. That is false. We were there 2 hours before check in with nobody at the property and never got a text. Fridge makes ice very sloooooowwwly so be sure to buy your own bag of ice. There is not a closet in the bedroom that has 2 queen beds.

Spacious with a great beach view. Would use a few more kitchen items other than that it was great.

Closeness to beach. House awesome! My only negative critique would be lots of stairs but I have arthritis and that’s my issue. But all houses have stairs so I guess “negative critique” does not apply. Overall a very nice place 😊

We stayed for a week at this property and it was so fun to be able to walk out the door and be on the beach! Overall the property is great, having three bedrooms and three baths means plenty of room for everybody. The common areas are well set up for group activities, the dining room table is an awesome place to play games. The kitchen is well appointed but does have an inconsistent mix of Cutlery and pans, some of which probably should be thrown out. The area below the house is a great place to hang out either when the sun gets to be too much or at night to just watch watch the waves. Hurricane Erin was hitting when we were there and the water washed up all the way underneath the house which was pretty exciting.

We rented for a week. The ocean view and beach access is excellent! High tide comes right up to the house. The water is shallow with a sandbar/second beach at low tide. Perfect for kids. We loved the outdoor shower. Parking is a little tricky with all the sand in the driveway. The beds were comfortable. There were a few maintenance items but nothing serious. The home is beautiful and comfortable and well equipped. There are two flights of stairs to get to the main floor. I highly recommend this rental for the ocean view and experience.
