NTB2387 Paradise

We were at the very tip of the island so were aware that the beaches were not safe to swim. It was nice in that it was more secluded. Only the fisherman off the access beach. Loved the huge tv in the living room and the adequate seating for the 8 of us. If you had kids you would miss swimming in the ocean near there but if they prefer the pool to swim than you are set. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were nicely decorated, especially the ones on the 4th floor. All the windows had electric blinds which was nice. The house has great views of the ocean and soundside. We enjoyed some beautiful sunsets. I would stay again with our couples getaway group.

We watched a moon come up on one side while the sun set on the other. Can't beat that!! Beach play was great. Enjoyed many beach walks. Bedroom and bath arrangement suited our large family. Elevator was so helpful moving luggage and groceries. Very much enjoyed our stay.

The house is very big with nine bedrooms, two of which had two sets of bunkbeds. The house is really nice with beautiful views. Unfortunately my experience was a little bitter sweet. The property is listed as oceanfront and beachfront which it is. What the listing and Vacasa failed to mention is that you cannot swim at the beach directly outside the property. There is literally a sign outside the back of the house on the beach that says do not swim due strong currents. We had to walk a few minutes down the beach to go swimming. This is very disappointing because we paid a premium for beachfront access when it wasn't what was expected. What is even more disappointing is that I learned about the beach access situation prior to my reservation dates. I made multiple inquires/complaints to Vacasa via email, text, and phone. It went nowhere. I continue to follow up during our stay, and I kept getting blown off being told that they would get back to me. When I rent a home that is advertised as beachfront, I wouldn't expect that I would have to walk to a public access point. This doesn't take away anything from the house itself which is very nice; however, if you are willing to pay a premium for beachfront access with the intention of swimming in the ocean as I was, I'm not sure I would recommend this home because it is basically like being a row back in terms of accessing the beach where you can swim. Lastly, I will never rent through Vacasa again given how they handled my concerns.

House is beautiful with a lot of positives. Loved the location.
