NTB192 Briney Breezes

This house is right on the beach and fantastic views of the beach and ocean from all the ocean front rooms and the decks. I enjoyed the sun rise every morning. The house is nicely furnished and had great amenities. Beds were made, toiletries provided and even some kitchen supplies. Our family loved it and we had a great time.

This house fits multiple people well with 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Large kitchen table is great as well. Good parking space. The beach is perfect and this section of the island you are away from the hustle and bustle, quiet section. We had 10 adults and never ran out of hot water and the AC did great. We did have to ask for some new outdoor furniture as many prices were broken, we did get replacement furniture within a couple days. The cleaners need to do a better job, surface cleaning was done, but the floors needed mopped and the table needed cleaned. The coffee pot had remnants of coffee grounds still in the basket. The bathrooms did appear to be clean. Even with it not being as clean as it should have been I would still stay here again and recommend it.

The home was not cleaned. But, the location of the house to the beach wonderful.

The house itself was as shown in the listing as far as rooms and sizes. Stairs both into the house, onto the beach and getting from first floor to second inside were steep. The very bottom step on the exit of the house is miss-sized and make it easy to fall. My mother is 87 and the stairs were a challenge. Everything except the frig looked clean unless you looked under things and then it was not. The frig/freezer needs to be replaced. Items in the freezer thawed and items in the frig never became cold. There were extra chairs, toys, umbrellas and other stuff in a storage room below, but everything was just thrown in dirty and laying on top of each other. Beautiful location for sure! Beach was less crowded than most places this time of year. House is very close to the end of the street, which eliminated most traffic and allowed the kids to ride bikes. Both porches are great for watching the coastline and sunrise/sunsets. Beach is right in front of the house for easy access to and from.

I have never posted a negative review on a property in Topsail but could not let this one slide. This home is just plain old dirty. The cleaning crew does a good job of the superficial cleaning, but this place needs a top to bottom cleaning as evidenced by the cockroach we found in the kitchen on our last day. There's a bunch of small things too like not being able to regulate the temp for the upstairs A/C, the filtered water in the fridge not working, etc. It's unfortunate because the house is in a great location and overall would be great if it was just shown some TLC.

If you're looking for good beach access, this house provides it.
