Loved the views wish we had more access to the dock

The kitchen is VERY unorganized and limited cookware. The toaster oven itself is nasty but the cooking tray is down right gross. The stove top very dated but worked. The refrigerator stunk of fish (not from us). There is a closet in the kitchen that is just crammed with stuff they didn’t know what to do with. The couches are full of stains … gross… when the cleaners clean they need to clean the entire room including behind doors. The shower curtain in the bathroom upstairs was moldy and don’t even get me started on the fan upstairs that by the buildup of dust and dirt hasn’t been cleaned in YEARS. The 1st morning we were there we were woken by the music blasting as the construction crew worked on the house being built next door. So each day from 8 am till 6 pm we were at a construction site. We planned this trip to relax and decompress and not only between 630pm till 8am. We were glad to find raid as there was a few occasions we had to use it as the additional guests did not contribute to the cost lol. The stairs out back that lead to a “dock” is not fastened to the structure of the deck/house (kinda scary) also the dock that is advertised as an amenity was lock … and inaccessible so why is it advertised? The deck out back is in need of sanding and stain… splinters. Now the good when we reached out to complain we were contacted right away by Vacasa. We were told it is company policy not to inform guest of things like construction that might affect your stay. They offered to move us but the group voted the water view versus the inconvenience of moving. So instead offered a bit of a refund which was initiated right away. The view off the back of the house was very nice and it was lovely sitting on the back deck at night and watching the boats. Overall if the house was truly DEEP cleaned regularly and updated would be worth the price. As it is now not really recommended.

Nicely situated property with a long pier into the channel, however access to the pier was closed with a locked gate...what a shame! The layout of the house was ideal for sharing as each of the 5 bedrooms had its own full bathroom in addition to a half bath off the living room.

This property was a great location and had amazing views! The house was very spacious and kitchen was well stocked with equipment. The location was perfect! Close to a Carolina beach and not far from downtown Wilmington.

Time with family. Making memories and being together. We loved the house.

We loved sitting on the back deck and watching all the boats come and go from the channel. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay!
