Quite, yet close to everything and beautiful sunrise view of the ocean from the front deck.

The location of the home is wonderful and the entire layout of the home has the opportunity to be a very nice place to stay. That was not what we were met with during our stay though. Upon opening the front door at check-in, we were greeted with the Overwhelming scent of mold and mildew in the home. Throughout the entire home the ceiling has more black water spots on it than a leopard. The bathroom ceiling in the hallway being worse. You can see extensive water damage to that ceiling and it’s nearly fallen down. Rotten fruit was left in our indoor trashcan under the sink. All of our trash cans were completely full on arrival and not taken to the road to be dumped. There were also several safety concerns, especially with small children that which I have. The entire deck railing on the steps leading to the rear of the house is completely detached. Several pickets around the porch too, were also loose or detached. The entire wooden boardwalk that leads to the parking lot behind was in dire need of attention. Several boards were completely loose. We found out because my son stepped on the end of one and it shot up and he fell over. I shared all these things with Vacasa and of course they attempted all that I really expected them to do. They sent somebody to put a filter in our air condition since there was not one and they were able to secure the boards on the wooden boardwalk behind the home. The half way took care of the trash issue.Everything else was left to deal with for the week due to the owner is going to make repairs during the off-season. In my opinion, a home shouldn’t be listed for rent if it’s unsafe. If the owner of the home enjoys owning their home, I suggest they go over that entire deck because if somebody falls or gets injured on their property, they will probably end up owning their home. Overall, it wasn’t completely awful. I will give Vacasa some credit. They attempted their best to try to do the things that they could in the time that we were there. The rest is on the owner. Also, if you have allergies to mold or several other things, this probably isn’t a home for you. My wife and kids are both very sensitive to mold and by end of the week we have made several trips to the doctors office for ear infections and sinus infections. I can’t prove it, but I’m certain it’s there. Stay at your own risk and hopefully the proper repairs are made. As I said if the proper repairs are made it would make for a wonderful vacation rental

We arrived to a house that has not been cleaned. There was poor communication as to when it would be cleaned. We had to get hotel rooms to stay in until the next day when it got cleaned. We were told by one person that they don’t do the cleaning on weekends. so why book my stay to begin on the weekend? Otherwise, the house was in a good location. The house layout was great – very spacious. Comfortable beds.

Great location but home needs TLC.

House was exactly how it looked. Great location, very easy check in. Would recommend it to friends

Home was very clean, perfect location with gorgeous views and easy, short walk to beach access. Home was stocked with necessities. I will definitely be back to spend a longer vacation!
