SC613D SeaGlass Cottage

The house was in a good location, close to several things within walking distances including the beach. WiFi was a good speed and had good reception.

Overall a nice place. Shower and small kitchen appliances need cleaned. The grill was so dirty we turned it on, used a tin pan to cook in and looked over and there was a rolling grease fire. It was the first time we used it.

The house itself could have been great. Was close enough to walk to things and was very nicely decorated and had a nice beach access very close by. Also had an amazing view. However… the Air conditioning on the first floor was broken (where the bedrooms are). Repair services did come out but the unit was not repairable. The pocket door to one of the bathrooms was broken to where it left a 6 inch gap and did not allow privacy. There was a large stain on one of the bedspreads. On maps it looks like there is a path to put in kayaks to the sound out the back of the property. We reached out through Vacasa to make sure we could and they said it was accessible. What they did not mention is that to get out there, the path is not maintained and has knee high brush with fiddler crabs crawling over your feet and knee deep mud. We ended up putting our kayaks in at the park instead which had a very nice kayak launch. Overall the property was great and has potential, just wish the owners were more responsive and was maintained better.

Clean, spacious, great balcony, <5min walk to ocean

In many ways the home exceeded expectations. The real drawback for our family was that the 6 of us couldn't sit and eat a meal together. As shown in photos, there is a high top table with 4 high top chairs and no options for chairs that could be added.

Great location — easy access to shops, restaurants, and beach. Lovely, relaxing view. Well cared for cottage. Spacious off street parking and yard.
