Where the house was located it’s a great location

This beach house reminded me of trips to the shore growing up. Its comfortable, first row to the beach access and while it's a bit worn , it was comfortable and dog friendly. The front porch offered sunrise and sunset views and beautiful ocean views from all front facing rooms. The kitchen had everything needed and was very clean.

The location of the property was pretty good. The beds and pillows were not comfortable. The yard could have used a little TLC, we saw old rugs along the driveway that had sand on top of it like it blew there and nobody bothered to throw it out. The maintenance that did need to be done while we were there was professional and kind. I am a cook, so I was hoping for a better supplied kitchen. There wasn’t even a spatula to flip pancakes or grilled cheese sandwiches. There was no laundry supplies, which is not the norm at most places. When we asked about supplies like additional toilet paper, paper towels, and kitchen cleaner, we were told that the Vacasa only provides three days worth of supplies and that we would have to supply the rest. I am sorry, I am not going to buy your kitchen with all the cleaning supplies and trash bags and paper towels, and dish rags, when I have my own kitchen that I supply those things for and paid for those things to be in the kitchen of the home that we rented. That part was very disappointing to me. However, if you’re not into cooking and just need a kitchen to make coffee and store your sodas in the fridge, this is a perfect kitchen for that. You probably won’t have the same amount of trash so the three days supply of trash bags, etc. would work for you. I did have to rewash all the towels because they smell like they had been left a while before being washed and had a moldy smell to them. Overall, we are thankful to be able to have such an experience and a beautiful location, but we will not be rebooking this home. We’re looking for a more complete kitchen and comfort. This cute little cabin would be great for younger people who sleep less than they’re awake and spend more time eating out.
