Clean and close to the ocean. Quiet and peaceful on the deck. Quiet end of the island. Everything worked well! Nice stay and had everything we needed for our family of 4. Would definitely stay again!

Great location

This was our 2nd trip to North Topsail, last year we stayed closer to the pier. This place was super close to the water, in fact it was so close that when it was high tide there isn't a beach! The water is right at the bottom of the stairs to get to the beach. Had I known this we would have opted to stay at a different location. The pictures show the water being close but I had no idea that at high tide it would be that close. We like to walk to the beach looking for shark teeth and shells and whatever else we can find. When high tide is at your door it makes it difficult to get out there period. The daybed used for the couch could definitely use more pillows to make sitting a bit more comfortable. I was a little confused on the linens, none of the beds had sheets on them and there were only two towels for the 4 us to use and two washcloths. There was a pillowcase full of lines when we arrived outside of the door that I wasn't sure if they had been left behind by housekeeping or if they were there for us to use. Where they were just left by the door outside I didn't want to risk using somebody's dirty laundry. Thankfully we had brought more than enough beach towels so we had something to dry off on after showering. There is a strong musty smell in this unit, I noticed what looked like black mold around one of the fire alarms on the celling and a few other areas but I honestly think it came from the portable AC unit in the bedroom. The exhaust fan doesn't work in the bathroom either which made for a lot of moisture after showering. This unit was "OK" especially for the price we paid for the 3 days we were there.

The condo is in a good location, close to Sneads Ferry. I would not suggest staying here if you want to go out directly to the beach from the condo as the only time you can go out is during low tide. During high tide the water is up to the condos and so there is no beach for you to walk out on. I wish the condo would have smelled fresher, it smelled old (probably from all of the moisture in the air being right at the ocean like it is) other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
