We loved it was oceanfront and lots of outdoor seating. Sheets and towels we provided.
Nice big porch, like how the door to the condo leads onto the porch first. Has a couple of beach chairs and beach stuff. Would’ve been nice to know ahead of time that it has shampoo conditioner and body wash already provided. The pool was nice and water was clear in it. It was nice having a starter pack with a few essentials., although a few more appliances would be nice. Walking distance to the boardwalk. Self check-in is convenient.
Close to everything. Would have been nice to have place to plug in a golf cart.
To start, overall, the condo is fairly updated and in an excellent location. The cons we experienced: bring house slippers because the floor turned the bottoms of our feet black as coal. Be prepared for hearing any and all noises from your upstairs neighbors. The family staying above us had several children who were early risers so there was no sleeping in; you can hear walking, dressers opening, doors opening etc. As mentioned in other reviews, parking is atrocious! If I would’ve known about the parking (I never saw those reviews) prior to booking, it would’ve been a dealbreaker. This condo was incredibly overpriced for what we experienced and have stayed in nicer ones for a cheaper weekly rate.
We were there 3 days in early October for a family memorial event. I picked this place because it was dog friendly and had a room for each member of my immediate family. The unit was very spacious and comfortable. It was clean. We had beautiful views. We used the pool and the beach and walked to the Boardwalk with young kids. Extended family visited for a few hours and we had a great time on the balcony. Our only complaint was the parking situation, which involved lining up cars in the parking bay underneath the unit. Our rental Ford Explorer was not able to fit in the designated parking bay with room for us to get in and out. Fortunately we found a space behind the units (only 3 spaces, and one was for compact car.) Other than parking, the place was almost perfect.
Location was good. However we reported a broken washing machine on day 1. For the first 3 days, the nice lady managing the property said "I'm sorry the owner has been contacted, a maint person will be there today" but they never came. The did offer a very reasonable daily laundry service refund which I appreciate. But, what a pain in the rear. 1) we need to just throw things in the wash and 2) why not send a repair person 3) why tell me for days that one will be there "today" then no show?
