Great fenced in yard
Loved the porches, especially the swing! Loved the fenced in backyard & that we were able to bring our furry family member! I am going shopping for a chair like the one in the living room. It was super comfy!
We found the house to be comfortable, had all amenities we needed, clean and close to the beach. The king size bed was amazing! Thanks for the relaxing stay.
Enjoyed the living area and front porch area. Master bedroom very nice, bed comfortable. Great to have a fenced in back yard for pups. Short walk to the beach. Thankful for outdoor shower with kids/grandkids
It’s a short walk to 3 public beach entrances. The stairs up to the living space is a little steep, so I’m glad we didn’t bring our beagle, but a larger dog would have an easier climb. The back yard is fenced in, so dog friendly. The public beach access doesn’t have parking so the crowds were very small. The bedroom downstairs is a good size, the bedrooms upstairs are challenged on space. Great for a family group, less great for a large group of friends. Surrounded by thick trees and bushes, so it covers the traffic to some degree. There’s a porch off the main bedroom and it’s pretty cool, but keep an eye out for ticks. I found 2 crawling on me at 2 separate times. That porch is outdoors, spaces between the deck is where I found one tick. There’s no handheld in the shower, just one shower head, great pressure, but hard to direct. If you’re bringing work with you on your trip, I recommend bringing a dinner tray table. There are lots of seats but most of the tables are showy, not practical, and the dining table chairs are fancy with sharp edges, not comfy for long stretches. The WiFi is a little weak. Husband & I were frequently needing to reconnect for our work stuff. There’s no mention of when trash and recycling gets picked up. The garbage was completely full when we arrived. We put the trash bin down all week every day but Wednesday because Wednesday is recycling day. On Friday, they finally picked up. It was a great rental over all
We loved that there were a lot of trees around the property and a fenced in back yard. The house is just off the main road, which does provide some road noise, however that was only minor. The house was clean and limited supplies, such as 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 2 rolls of paper towels, and 3 garbage bags. No hair dryer or beach towels were provided. These are things it might have been nice to know ahead of time. We also bought coffee filters and left them for the next guests, as there weren't any when we arrived! I suspect over time, the house will accumulate aluminum foil, plastic bags, etc. that are nice to have things. House had decent furniture, although a bit dated. The king bed in the master bedroom was firm and to our liking! The deck had been recently done and is a great space to hang out.
