Shutters on the Beach is nestled back in the maritime forest of Pine Knoll Shores, keeping you away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life yet close enough to the many family activities and great shops of the Crystal Coast. Let your cares float away in the oceanside swimming pool or take a walk along the beautiful, white-sand beach!

At the end of the day, hop on the elevator back to Shutters 301, located on the first floor of this oceanfront complex. This beautifully furnished condo offers a great oceanfront deck with views of both the pool and the ocean. The large, open living room has plenty of seating for the whole family, while the well-equipped kitchen makes it easy for even the youngest vacationer to find something to nibble on. Gather the family for a grand meal at the spacious, six-person dining table and find extra seating at the nearby counter if needed.

At night, the grand primary bedroom features its own en suite bath, while the second bedroom has private access to the hall bath. There's also a bonus room with a sleeper sofa, a private washer/dryer, and free WiFi throughout the house.

This property is great. It's somewhat isolated so it's not crowded, has a beautiful view of the ocean and pool easy to get in and out of.

I hesitated to write this review, but since the other reviews did not mention these things I thought future renters should have this info. Great location, easy beach access. Nice pool, but it lacked any shade at the pool. The condo was surface clean enough, but everything is worn out. I would guess it has not had any updates since it was built. So the sinks, tub, shower, faucets are all showing decades of wear from use and harsh cleaning. There is carpet in both bedrooms that are very stained. The ceiling fan blades are all dirty as are the HVAC filters and air vents. The 2nd bathroom shower is tiny and lacked water pressure, perhaps due to the old showerhead (the main shower had good water pressure). We understand that "palmetto bugs" (roaches) are common at the beach, but we should have had a clue when there was a large spray can of Raid on top of the fridge. We had to dispose of 14 roaches in the condo the 6 days we were there. Maybe condos on higher floors would be more bug-free. A family member had a different condo at the same place that has had updates and it was much, much, much better. But if you just want a place at the beach at a good price and aren't worried about the minuses this is an option for you.

This is a great location, right on the beach and not too densely populated. Overall the condo was nice, and I would stay again, but when we arrived the cleaning could have been better, as it was pretty sandy. The pool was also not super clean. We preferred the beach anyway, so it didn't affect us much. The place is great, just needs a little more attention from the cleaning crew.
