IBNC02 Seventh Heaven

The view on both sides was great, but a lot of other things were not what was expected. Sorry.

The view from the balcony it was beautiful.

The building itself is nice, property pool is clean, the residents are very helpful. We enjoyed it, but won't be coming back. On arrival we couldn't access the elevator door because the codes didnt work, we were lucky enough to have a resident let us in while figuring it out. It took 3 calls to the 1-800 number the following morning, since no one would answer the local number for us. I recieved a text, but no answer on a solution. Ended up having to just drive down to the office and they promptly gave me a key fob stating this happens sometimes. In the unit, there was mold on the guest room vents, almost every utensil in the drawers were dirty, the sheets and towels smelled so heavily of bleach I ended up having to wash them, many of the walls were very scuffed/dirty, the master bathtub faucet was bringing up sand (filled and emptied it three times to be sure. We also found multiple live roaches in the kitchen. Having lived in eastern NC my entire life, these were dirty roaches not the "just because you live in NC" roaches. Overall it was a convenient place in the middle of the island, but a lot of hassle for the price. Hopefully others have a better experience.

Pros- Clean, spacious, quiet and lovely views. We enjoyed our stay. Cons- door lock was aggravating- hard to get to unlock/lock with code. Beach access is not close. Across the road but quite a long walk. Sheets were a little rough. All in all the good outweighed any bad. It's about a 15 min ride to get to restaurants and such. If you're looking for quiet and serene this is your place!

Great location. Fun top floor unit.

Very comfortable and provided good nights sleep. Beautiful views and large rooms. Could use an update on glassware, wineglasses, etc. Really, very nice overall.
