The home is one of the nicer vacation rentals we've been in. Our family of four had plenty of room. The unit was on the second floor--accessible by elevator or stairs. The location was quiet and beach access was just a short quick walk across the street. The pool was still open--it was just too cold to use it. We could walk to some food locations and next door to Dollar General. It was only 3-4 minutes from the Food Lion complex. And about 15 minutes from Walmart on the mainland. The unit was pretty kid friendly--came loaded with beach toys and gear too. The porch was screened it and very nice. We aren't fans of glass tables, but since we have teens, there wasn't anything to worry about. The kitchen was very well stocked. Even a Keurig and French Press! And I did see a Crockpot, we just didn't use it. It could be beneficial to have more than one skillet though. The only negative was that our master bathroom shower door was broken. It had to be lifted basically up out of the track to get in. And then the same getting out--but the handle was small. We called the facility and they sent out someone quickly. It ended up being determined to be unusable--but the maintenance set up a curtain rod and curtain which worked perfectly fine for the duration of our visit. The door needed to be totally taken off, which wasn't a job for while we were there. So hopefully it gets fixed before the next renters! Okay--actually one more negative. The beds. I mean, if you are fine with EXTRA firm mattresses then you will love the options in this unit. But if you need some give for your body (because hey, some of us are older now), then you may want to throw in a mattress pad like we did. We were SO thankful to have it for our bed in the master bedroom. And even then it was still rough by the end of the trip. We did like the bonus sink in the hallway--especially so I could do my hair and makeup while my husband was in the other bathroom and my kids were in their bathroom. The laundry room is in the little area as soon as you open the first door for the unit to get to the actual unit. It was the nicest dryer I've ever used and the washer was in great condition. Just had to climb over the beach things to get it. And yes. As soon as you walk in, you will notice the purple theme. It made me smile. Just a nice beach rental that was in great condition! I recommend it happily. We'd stay again...just bring a thicker or second pad for the bed!

Liked being in the middle water on both sides and a short drive to shopping and food

My mom and I just had the best week at the beach. The condo is beautifully decorated and incredibly clean. My mom sat in the living room for two of the days we were there just looking around, talking about how beautiful the place is and what she loved best about each room. The beach is right across the street and the street crosswalk is right in front of the condo. There is a lap sized pool which is cleaned daily. I didn’t use the tennis or paddle ball courts but they are well maintained. I strongly recommend staying here. There is a lovely screened in porch if you want to sit outside but not be outside. Also, theres an elevator that can be used to get to the condo if you have trouble with stairs or just tired from being at the beach.

Typical beach condo, clean and well decorated and equipped. Excellent value with easy beach access across the highway via a concrete and wooden walkway used only by resort occupants. You can enjoy a great beach experience with this as your home base whether a couple, family or adult group.

Nice place for the family to get away! Very few cosmetic items need attention, but does not take away from the stay there! Fully equipped kitchen and bedrooms!
