OAI15 Turtle Time

Loved the location! Close to shopping, grocery stores and restaurants. Pictures of the home made it look bigger than it was. Home was small and outdated. Window blinds were very dirty and home was full of fruit flies.

Nice house and close to the beach

During our visit we were able to witness a baby loggerhead turtle emerge from its nest. A once in a lifetime event! We are hoping to make it back in the future to try and witness this event again. The house was perfect. The couch was so comfy, we are on the hunt to find a replica for our home. We loved our visit.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beach house! It was very comfortable for our group of five adults, but would also be perfect for families. Some past reviews mentioned outdated kitchen and bathrooms, but it looks like the home has been updated recently—the kitchen was bright, clean, and beautiful, with plenty of essentials provided by Vacasa. The beds were extremely comfortable, the couch was extra cozy, and the whole place was spotless with lots of towels, soaps, shampoo, and conditioner available. The location couldn’t be better—close to restaurants in Oak Island and just a quick drive to Southport—with plenty of stress-free parking. The highlight, though, was the stunning ocean view. Having a private walkway straight to the beach made it feel like a luxury getaway. I loved starting each morning on the deck, coffee in hand, watching the sunrise over the water. There was ample seating outside, and the outdoor shower and spigot were perfect for rinsing off sandy feet. Overall, this home exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back!

I’m pretty sure that says it all but….. towels. Towels everywhere! Amazing! Private! Most comfortable couch in the universe! And those blue blankets???? Please tell me where I can get like 10! Happy
