Rating
The layout and location of this house was wonderful but it has been neglected by the owners . Not that it was dirty when we arrived. Just not very well attended to.
Very spacious! Short 5 minute or less walk to the beach! The beach access was directly across from our street. The kitchen table was huge, plenty of seating. Enjoyed many family meals and game nights there!
Overall the house was fine. As mentioned in the above, a few things that we would have never expected and neglected. Addressing the items above would have made this the ultimate vacation home. BTW: The Vacasa attendants did a great job in retrieving our sodastream that was left behind. Thanks again Gloria!
Beautiful home and close to the beach.
The peacefulness of the area
I will start by saying that this was my family's first time renting a vacation home and OVERALL the trip was good. We had 5 adults and 4 children under 8 yrs old. Layout of house was nice, plenty of bedrooms and baths. Close proximity to public beach access also. Problems started with the WiFi not connecting and unable to stream anything on TV. WiFi wasn't fixed until our last full day there. The next night the door keypad died and we were almost locked out. Local maintenance person attempted to fix, but instead they gave us 1 key to the lock. For 5 adults. I felt their "starter pack" of 2 trash bags and 3 dishwasher pods was a little unexpected for the money spent for a house that can sleep 16. The local office did answer our phone calls and, I hope, really try and fix our problems in a timely manner. We were given a small refund for our lack of WiFi for two thirds of our visit, but it's hard to make up for vacation time lost when maintenance and service guys have to be in the house and it's best to be there to show them the location of equipment or to explain the problem. At one point, I even had to talk to Spectrum service on the phone myself. Who wants to do that on vacation? We even found NEW Spectrum equipment in a box that was shipped to house in Nov 2024. Why wasn't it hooked up? Again, the area was wonderful and I would go back. I will take this trip as a learning curve.
