View and boardwalk are great, duplex not so much,overpriced for what you get,needs a makeover

We thought the house was great! Obviously a little outdated, could definitely use a few updates in the bathrooms, and some sort of hard surface flooring. The house was clean when we arrived (except the stained carpet) appliances worked, location was excellent, comfortable furniture, mattresses were not old, and the kitchen was decently stocked. Would rent this place again.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we would consider renting it again, but the place needs some attention. The good: The location was great. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to prepare meals, including a cast iron skillet which was great for frying some fresh local seafood. The home was generally clean and the beds were comfortable. The not so good: The owner really should invest some time to address some of the small things that the home needs including fixing the downstairs toilet that runs occasionally, install some drawer pulls on the kitchen drawers and replace the carpet. I understand this is a pet friendly rental and we sincerely appreciate being able to bring our dog on vacation, but the carpet downstairs is badly stained and is way past needing to be replaced.

The best part of this place besides the location is the bed, it was very comfortable to sleep in.

Loved location, easy access to beach, wonderful views!! Home could really use updating furniture wise and carpets are worn and very dirty. Needs a deep cleaning - make sure to bring slippers as you won’t want to walk on carpets!! Would be perfect place if updated, carpets were replaced and it had a deep cleaning!!
