This light and bright oceanfront home features fun seaside cottage décor welcomes you in from the beach, which can be accessed from your private walkway.

Enjoy the amazing ocean view from the broad, covered front porch and the spacious kitchen/living area, which offers plenty of seating for dining or watching movies. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your seaside meals.

The upstairs loft boasts a spectacular view and more comfy seating. Updates are constant here, and 2024 brought some renovations and new paint in the bedrooms. Amenities include central air-conditioning and heat, fiber-optic WiFi, smart TVs with Roku, a wet bar, a washer/dryer, an enclosed outdoor shower with hot water, a lockable storage room under the house, parking under the house, a propane grill, and plenty of parking.

The house was oceanfront with very short walk to the beach. It was spacious and a perfect house for our family to enjoy all that comes with staying at Holden Beach! It wasn't crowded, lots of shells and great place to relax and fish. We would definitely recommend this home!

We enjoyed a nice week with our immediate family in Barefeet Retreat. The house was just as described and met all our needs. It’s a great location, close to the bridge and restaurants, but far enough to be quiet on the street and beach.

Great for our family of 7. Very convenient being beachfront and lots of items provided - we used the beach chairs downstairs this year rather than pulling ours out to get sandy and rusty. Biggest complaint is mattresses that are getting old and the limited seating capacity in the living room. There is always a fully stocked kitchen, but we’ve started bringing our own frying pans and cutting boards. Hesitant to keep staying here due to constant price increases (we paid $3000 in 2018 and will now pay over $5000 in 2026.)

A very lovely beach house with an amazing location. Charming interior design and a very well equipped kitchen. The house was very clean and suitable for a family with small kids. We loved the quiet beach life and went to some sites nearby as well. I can recommend Holde Beach Massage (David & Kelley). It´s a unique kind of massage. We enjoyed every minute of this stay and when we come back to Holden Beach, we'll rent this house again.
