Kitchen well stocked with ample cookware and utensils. The best feature of this house is the screened in porch. Vacasa's door codes and how to access the TV via a smartphone is NOT user friendly for technology challenged people. Street side door does not open all the way (safety hazard?) . This rental needs SERIOUS updating of the furniture (uncomfortable seating) curtains replaced (nasty) and a better cleaning crew.

I stay in this house every year for a family vacation. 2 of the 3 tv’s do not work. The TV’s in the bedroom do not work. We love this house but feel like the bedroom TV’s should be updated and should work since this is listed as an amenity

Great view of the ocean. Amenities are so-so. Needs a little work, but for the age of the house it’s fair. Make sure the AC has been serviced, as ours went out and window units were installed. Not ideal in the heat wave we had that week in NC. This house gets 2.5 stars, let’s hope it’s updated for future renters to enjoy. 😊

This is our 2nd year coming to Holden Beach. The Windalear was very nice. We love being oceanfront and having our own private access. The front porch overlooking the dunes/ocean was great! We stayed early June of this year and the weather was perfect. Even enjoyed a couple of Beach storms from the enclosed front porch. We did find one rather large palmetto bugs in a kitchen cabinet. Vacasa sent someone to put out traps and spray the outside. Wasn't too much of a bother and only saw the one. The master bed could have been a little comfier but overall our trip was great! Kitchen was more than fully stocked with nice pots and pans. Everything you needed and some. It was also very convenient to have the washer and dryer right in the kitchen vs downstairs.
