OIB23 Starfish Cottage

The Starfish Cottage is perfectly situated for quiet morning walks and peaceful sunsets. Located toward the end of the island, the beaches are your own and the views are spectacular. The Cottage is set-up perfectly with open shared spaces and private bedrooms, and the porch on the back is wonderful for morning coffee or an evening beverage. The pool is an added bonus, with comfortable loungers, and always has a mix of sun and shade. I have been coming to Ocean Isle for years, and the Starfish Cottage is the place I return to time and time again.. a home away from home!

Loved the vibe of the house, location was awesome, it was well stocked and the pool with outdoor shower was really handy. Overall the house was very clean but in definite need of some repairs. The floors appeared to be in pretty bad shape and held together by duct tape in a couple of spots which didn't feel safe. The pool has a leak and had to be filled almost daily. We chose not to reach out for help to management as there would have been nothing that could have done to fix the issues while we were staying there. I hope they are planning on making the pool and floor repairs in off season as we would definitely stay again if the issues are addressed. Being able to bring our pups was awesome and there was plenty of bed space for the 7 of us.

We loved the cottage feel and it had everything, we went there after my Dad passed away and took my Mom and daughter, brother and her boyfriend... super clean and, you are practically on the Ocean, very nice pool.. We will stay here again, They had everything for everyone at all ages...I have saved to my favorites, for the fall

My family and I had a wonderful visit to the Starfish Cottage! This home has beautiful views for coffee in the morning, a short walk to the beach to enjoy the ocean, and a refreshing pool to take a relaxing dip in the afternoon. It includes everything you need to make a delicious meal at home (including a grill, which we used for fresh seafood several nights), and thoughtful amenities, like charging stations and plenty of hooks for hanging damp towels and bathing suits. The beds provide a comfortable place to rest after a day at the beach, or an afternoon touring one of the local sites. I have stayed at this home with friends, cousins, and most recently, my immediate family, and each time it has worked out perfectly. Don’t miss this gem in Ocean Isle!

This house is perfect for our family/friends of 6. We Love that we can take our dogs. The pool area is such a nice place to hang out all day! Beach access is 2 houses away. Although the handicap access is about a 1/4 mile away. I would recommend this house for smaller families. It’s perfect!

Other than Debby sending us home early we had a great stay. This house is positioned perfectly between the beach and the road. Beach access is two houses down and very easy to get too. The house is very cozy and fit 6 adults comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook dinners easily.
