HB297 Holden the Waves- Private Boat and Floating Dock

Very nice house. Very clean. Enough space for me. Will bring the family back next time. Loved all the natural light that came through the house.

Decor, huge back porch and floating dock where you can launch a paddle board or kayak.

We had originally booked another house through Vacasa. However, it was under repair. Vacasa was very helpful and gave us a few options to choose from. We chose “Holden the Waves.” Access to the canal, and a short walk to the beach made it a perfect choice for our family. The house was very cozy. It had a great view of the canal. I would definitely recommend this house to a friend. We had a great stay!

The location is great if you want access to a dock and the beach. Since it is a older house, there are no ceiling fans but they have provided a fan for every room which is necessary. We had some extra unwarranted friends join us every day, which scared us away so hopefully a good pest control company can come help resolve. The kitchen was well stocked. The dock is the selling point with the crab trap. Beware of your head as you head down to the garage for the washer and dryer. Also, the outdoor shower is a nice touch after the beach. If you have pet allergies stay away, but definitely a pet friendly place.

Please take note that as of this review, this house does not provide any beach supplies at all. Although the listing did not suggest that it had them, because it didn’t specifically state that they were not supplied we assumed that they would be. After all, you are renting a beach house. There are a few other quirky things about the house that don’t necessarily affect the stay. If I could, I would rate it a 4.5.
