HB198 The Pour House

We love this place it's so close the beach and have the dock out back we love to fish off of it. This is twice that we stayed here. Great for the dog having a fences in yard.

Good location, dog friendly. The living space was small for 6 adults. The back deck isn't 100% usable due to rotted boards. With a little bit of maintenance this would have been a great stay.

The house was perfect for our family with 3 kids, wife’s mother, and our two small dogs. One house back from the main beach road, with very close and easily traveled public beach access.

The short walk to the beach and being on the inlet was wonderful. We didn’t have much luck fishing off the dock but it was fun to have the option and to sit out there in the evenings with our family. The fenced in back yard was nice but it’s all rocks and lots of sandspurs so just fair warning there. The kitchen was equipped with a fair amount of pots, pans, etc. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Our family has stayed at the Pour House three times and has always enjoyed the experience. We love the convenient location and appreciate that all the basic necessities are thoughtfully provided. However, during our most recent visit, we were disappointed to find the house had a strong odor of dog urine and did not appear to be adequately cleaned. We hope these issues are addressed to ensure future guests continue to have the great experience we’ve come to expect.

Home was great for our needs. Loved the outside area and easy walk to the beach. Wish there was a little more seating in the living area but it didn’t bother us as we used the dining table for meals and outdoor area for hanging out.
