This is great for a very basic beach getaway. The living room furniture needs to be updated but the kitchen table is large and great for a family meal. The beach access across the street is very close. Some water views seen from the front deck. Overall, we would book this property again because it’s affordable.
Terrific location close to beach access. Interior was clean and inviting. This is a classic little beach house so if you need elegant updates keep looking. This fit our needs perfectly. Our only wish was a covered porch for some shade on the front deck. Dining table was big- beds were comfortable- good water pressure and the drinking water out of the tap tasted great. Will definitely keep this on my list of keepers
I started coming to Holden Beach in 1973, age 15, when most of tge houses were beach cottages like this one. To me, the beautiful wood paneling, big deck and a bit under stocked kitchen are part of a beach get-away. My biggest qualm is the lack of a true enclosed outdoor shower, though there is a partially enclosed. We’ve rented this house twice and will definitely rent again!
We had two children (6 and 1.5) in the house. The proximity to the beach was great.
Love the house, easy access to the beach. Good view of the ocean, clean, had everything we needed for our stay, home has been well kept, beds were very comfortable,
The pictures tell the tale. It is a nice place for a single family, but a little dated. Everything worked well and it was clean. It has been remodeled at least once, and the light switches are in some strange places. That aside, we'd stay there again for sure!
