Beachfront corner condo with pool and hot tub easy access to dining

Loved the BEACH! We had several issues with this unit starting the day we arrived. We arrived and the temperature was 81 degree and the air conditioner was not running. There is a thermostat and another above that which states not to turn that below 72 or the unit would freeze which is where the knob was set when we arrived. I called vacasa who had to call the owner and was told that we could turn the knob below 72. That note needs to be on the thermostat. We rented this unit last year and had issues with the AC. This unit sleeps 6 adults. We did not have enough towels and wash clothes for 6 people and no dish clothes or dish towels. This unit has 4 twin beds. The 2 hideabeds had no sheets and we only found a queen fitted and flat sheet. I called and requested more towels, wash clothes, dish towels and clothes and 2 sets of twin sheets. We did receive towels and wash clothes, 1 dish cloth and towel. We received 2 sets of sheets both for queen size beds. Frustrated but we used them. Wednesday I tried to take a shower and the shower handle came completely off. I called vacasa at 3:30 in the afternoon and they issued a ticket and I was told that someone would contact me. Thursday morning I called again and was told they would put a rush on it. Thursday afternoon a vacasa rep said she would be coming with a wrench to fix this. After a picture was sent to her she realized this required maintenance person. As of Saturday morning when we left nobody had been there to fix it. Needless to say we had 6 adults using 1 shower from Wednesday to Saturday morning when we checked out. We paid over $3,000 to rent this unit. This is unacceptable! We should have everything we need for the week and repairs should be top priority when it comes to your guests who look forward to their vacation each year. We also had 2 beach chairs that disappeared. This really needs someone who really cares and wants to make sure the rental has everything that is listed when viewing the property which this property DID NOT. Worst rental experience ever in the over 30 years we have been coming to FLORIDA.

Overall a nice unit for the price. Really a 3.5 star stay. Definitely not a five star stay. The little things add up. Mildew here and there, in the bathrooms (especially showers), ice dispenser, and kitchen faucet. The stairs outside the master are wooden (not concrete) and the walls do not block much noise. You will hear each and every person going up and down the external stairs at any hour of the day/night. For the price, it's a 3.5 star unit. We've done a dozen of these trips and this is more like a $1750 per week unit rather than $2500.
