Beautiful Estate on Millers Bayou with Free WiFi Game Room Firepit and Hammock

We go on vacations every year and stay in higher end properties. Let's start with the good things. The property inside was very nice. There was a ton of room to accommodate our 12 guests. The beds were comfortable and the air worked great. The pool was nice at the end of every day. Now the rest... The grass was high when we arrived and was never mowed, despite us making Vacasa aware. We ended up seeing 2 snakes in the yard, which scared our female guests and kept them from entering the yard throughout the stay. The water was off upon arrival, and the water in the outdoor sink (by the pool) came out looking like syrup or motor oil. The floating dock (which was needed for our boat because of how shallow the water would get at low tide) had an old canoe on it that stunk. It had been in the water for a long time and had barnacles that were rotting on the bottom of the boat. We had asked for it to be removed and it was not. It made going to our boat every day a bad experience. There were no spices in the house. Every other house we have ever rented at least had the basics (salt, pepper, etc.). Overall, we were not very impressed with the effort the owners put into this property. We will not be staying here again.

House was spacious. The kids loved the pool and the game room. The “master” bedroom on the first floor with the king bed did not have a dedicated bathroom. There was a powder room close by, but the showers were off of other bedrooms.

We rented this home for a scalloping weekend. Three generations--8 adults, 4 kids. The home was very comfortable: plenty of room and well appointed. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Great property

Plenty of space inside the home, but the yard was unusable due to unkempt grass, and fallen limbs everywhere the volleyball net was falling down. The inside was nice but the outside needs attention. Also the Playstation did not work which was disappointing for the kids.

If you are looking for a place to relax with family and friends then this place is it. With 13 people we found there was plenty of space in the house and that you never felt you were on top of each other or in each other's way. One of the best parts was the dining table, we were all able to sit and enjoy meals together. The other best part was the pool. It was a perfect size and so much fun. This house offered so much with the games it kept everyone entertained. We didn't really go anywhere except to Publix or Walmart which were nearby and there are restaurants close by I hear were good.
