The room had a retro look which we loved.

After my partner and I enjoyed our stay at the Sea Rocket 8. Unfortunately there was an ant infestation throughout the entire room. The kitchen cabinets, sink, floor, walls, even the bathroom tub! We woke up the first morning of our stay to all our opened food in the cabinets infested with ants and bound for the trash. The rest of our stay, ALL foods were stored in the refrigerator. Also, the bedsheets were a little questionable, so we opted to sleep ontop of them with our own linens. (But we are a little nasally in that way). Other than that, the beach was right outside and the neighborhood is very quaint and everything is walkable. Coconut Charlie's beach bar was a nightly hit! Only a 2 minute walk from the motel. Even the rainy days were nice under the covered patio area. Overall, a nice place and would stay again.

Wonderful location!! Right on the beach!! The room was very nice and clean!! Love the 50s theme.. if I’m ever back in the location I would definitely stay here again.. I wish they had more towels and washcloths. It was my husband and I for 3 days and we didn’t have enough towels or washcloths. Either you bought more or done laundry.. No one wants to do laundry on vacation..

This room and location is perfect for a couple's retreat weekend. It is relaxing, quiet, and right on the beach. You have the perfect outdoor area for sunsets, and the people are very nice. Inside the room, it looks newly renovated, with a small kitchen, perfect for cooking for 2. We needed a relaxing weekend, and this was perfect!!!
