This home includes two treetop decks for outdoor lounging, comfortable luxury beds, high-speed internet, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer! You'll love kicking back with the family to stream your favorite movies and shows on the home's Roku TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals for your friends and family. When it's time to get in a little sun, the beach is only two blocks away, so be sure to pack extra sunscreen for your trip! (Calling all surfers: there is a good surf break at 10th East!) After a day in the Atlantic, come home to spritz away the sand under the outdoor shower. You can easily rent bicycles, golf carts, surfboards, and paddleboards during your stay and a 10-block bicycle ride will take you to the quaint local shops and restaurants of downtown Folly Beach. Historic downtown Charleston is less than 13 miles north, perfect for an enjoyable day of sightseeing. Things to know: * Please note, this house is on a double lot and shares a double driveway with another home. ** Streaming is available using your own account (please note cable is not available) *** Please keep in mind that Folly is a conservation-minded island and every house is on a septic system. They have a folded up table and 4 chairs as well as some TV trays, but there is no formal place to eat. The living room is a little smaller than it looks in the pictures, so when the dining room table is set up, you are tight on space. And there are no bar stools There was a lot of animal hair on the couch and the comforters of the beds. The owners leave a sign that says "no animals on the furniture, but that rule is not being followed. The longer we stayed the more hair we saw spread to the floors and such. Besides that, everything was nice and clean (kitchen and bathrooms) The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beds were comfortable, and it is in a nice area close to the beach. The outdoor shower is a bit sketchy and the water runs reddish brown, so we were not able to use it, but there is a faucet on the ground level where you can rinse your feet.

This home is perfectly comfortable and is two blocks from public access to the beach. It is about a mile from restaurants, etc., so be prepared for that if you don’t have a car/bikes/golf cart; otherwise, just be prepared for a lovey spot and a fun beach town. Would come back again!

The location was good. The house was perfect for our family. Located within walking distance to the beach. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay here.

Great spot. Great location to the beach. There is little on the way of modern amenities but when you’re mainly away from the house, that doesn’t matter much. Great property for the price.
