I loved the decor and nice bathroom with walk in shower. Its location is very close to center street and all the activity. It’s also just a short walk to the beach.

It is certainly a great concept for a short term rental but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Upon arrival, there were five or six palmetto bugs “beach roaches” on the floor. One had clearly been smashed by the cleaner and left on the floor. There was still coffee in the coffee machine and left overs in the freezer. The A/C did not ever keep it cool even in the evenings. Also, they did not think about the door situation very well as you must use a shade to keep other guests/neighbors from being able to look right in so when entering each time you have to push through the shade. (It can’t be pulled up from the outside). I was told they would make things right after speaking with them but that didn’t pan out either. I will say that the location is great! 5 minute walk to the beach and town.

The house is approx. 4 blocks from area food and a few minute walk to the beach. There were some roachs and spiders on the first night which was a big negative but we didn’t see anymore throughout the weekend. The Murphy bed is a neat idea of isn’t comfortable with the current mattress. The yellow daybed/couch is also cute but could use a spot cleaning. Otherwise, the house is compact and a neat place to stay for a short vacation.
