If you’re the owners of this property: please reconsider your management company. If you’re thinking about renting this property: please read on. On day two of our stay, we discovered a weed vape sitting openly on the couch, under a decorative pillow but fully accessible to our teething babies. This could have been an extremely dangerous situation. When I reported it to Vacasa, they showed little concern and did not seem to grasp the seriousness of the issue. The teenager they sent to pick it up essentially shrugged it off and said “they shouldn’t have missed that.” Okay my 1 year old could have ingested literal drugs but whatever. I was told we would get the cleaning fee refunded but I haven’t seen a refund yet. Cleanliness was also a major problem. Within hours of arriving, our babies’ knees were black from crawling on the floors. We ended up having to purchase our own mop and cleaning supplies. The property itself is outdated and poorly maintained: The downstairs unit’s bathroom sink didn’t work, leaving only one functional bathroom. Despite asking about a fix, we were first met with rudeness and then completely ignored. It was never resolved during our stay. The downstairs fridge and oven had no lights. Two of the shower curtains showed what looked like mold. The location and screened-in porch had potential, but the condition of the home and the lack of care from the management company made it very disappointing. To the owners: your property deserves better care. To potential renters: if you’re okay with a dirty home, non-functioning amenities, and unsafe items left behind, this place may work for you. For us, it was unacceptable. I will not be booking with Vacasa again.

This house was perfect for our large family NYE gathering. Across the street from the beach (less than 2 minute walk to get to the beach access path). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the management company was very quick to respond to our questions via text.
